You gave your employer all the information; now what?

They asked for your information and you carried on about your day, forgot about it and… assumed. You think that the employer is taking care of everything, but that’s not always the case. Many people work for months only to discover they have never been registered.

Check if your employer has registered you, or transferred your apprenticeship from a previous company at the College of Trades Public Registry

1. Go to the Government of Ontario Website Start an Apprenticeship
2. Follow the Application Process
3. Or, sign an authorization card with the IBEW and support the campaign. When we win, you come under an IBEW apprenticeship and not left hung out to dry wondering and waiting with little to nothing to show for it.
